Hey there, lovely souls! If you've recently had an energy healing session, first off, congratulations on investing in your well-being! Now, as you ride the waves of that beautiful energy shift, it's essential to support your body in integrating the experience fully and detoxing any residual energies. Here are seven tips to help you glide through this process with ease:
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
Our bodies are made of 70% water, so this motto is one that actually applies all the time, but is one that for many people doesn't. To belabour that point, the "Human Garage" clinic recently conducted a survey where they found 88% of the 10,000 people they tested were underhydrated, and that this was the underlying cause of a "cascading series of health challenges".
But when your body is integrating and releasing toxins after an energy healing session, nourishing yourself with the "elixir of life" takes on a whole new level of importance.
Water fuels your circulatory system and facilitates lymphatic drainage (so that all the toxins we have released can move through and be released from your body as quickly and effectively as possible).
Sip on water throughout the day to flush out toxins and keep your energy flowing smoothly. Add a flake of sea salt or trace mineral drops like this one to your water to help your body absorb as much of the water as it can (silica and trace minerals help specifically, check out the above linked Human Garage post if you want more fascinating hydration advice).
2. Play some sounds
Depending on how much you research these concepts, you might know that sound's effect on human biology is one that has been surprisingly well demonstrated and almost accepted by large parts of the medical community. Quote by American neuroscientist and podcaster Dr Andrew Huberman. This is why the sound journey I play in my treatment plays such an important part in my reiki sessions. The brainwaves you produce in response to those sounds are very healing. This is why the tracks have been layered and sequenced very intentionally to have the effects on you that I described to you as we went through your session.

In that same sense, I invite you to continue using sound intentionally for at-home self care if you don't already. Sound bowls for the upper chakras can be amazing for headaches, the 174Hz solfeggio frequency can help with physical pain, and there are some amazing grounding frequencies (for example, using the root chakra tone of 396Hz). Plus, pretty much all healing sound will help with inflammation, the root cause of so, so many health conditions (there are tracks for inflammation specifically too though). Just search on Youtube, Spotify or whichever app you use.
Sound frequencies won't always necessarily clear an issue. Although even that I've experienced more than a couple of times. They work really well on specifically energetic issues (ie like trapped emotions). But even with "stubborn physical issues", the right sounds have certainly helped me breathe through some painful experiences with a grace I don't think I would have had without them. So if you have a migraine right now...I'd get this on asap.
3. Nourish yourself from within
4. Sip on some herbal goodness

Herbal teas are like magic potions for your body and soul. Choose blends that support detoxification and relaxation, such as dandelion root, ginger, or peppermint. Not only do they hydrate, but they also help soothe your system and promote gentle detoxification (plus the magicians at Rumi are a fountain of knowledge on this subject, check out this blog post they wrote recently)
5. Take a note from the ancient yogis
6. Ground and connect with nature
7. A great time to contemplate
